We are a fully authorized private hire operator, licensed by both Woking Borough Council and Guildford Borough Council. Our commitment to excellence has earned us recognition as an authorized home-to-school transport provider for Surrey County Council.

Our Journey
August 2018 - The Beginning
Obencars launches as a community-focused taxi service in Woking, starting with a small fleet of 3 vehicles.
January 2019 - Woking License
Achieved full private hire operator license from Woking Borough Council, expanding our service area.
June 2023 - Surrey County Council Approval
Granted official status as a trusted home-to-school transport provider for Surrey County Council.
January 2024 - Guildford Expansion
Secured licensing for Guildford Borough, marking a major milestone in our regional coverage.
