Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Confirmation

All bookings must be made in advance and are subject to acceptance by Obencars Ltd. A booking is only confirmed once you receive a formal confirmation from us via email, WhatsApp, or phone.

  • Bookings accepted via phone, email, WhatsApp, or our online booking form.
  • Accurate pick-up and drop-off details are mandatory; incorrect information may lead to delays or additional charges.
  • We recommend booking airport transfers at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee availability.

2. Cancellations and Changes

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time to avoid charges.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee of up to 50% of the total fare.
  • If the vehicle has already been dispatched, a £10.00 cancellation fee applies.
  • Changes to date, time, or destination are subject to vehicle availability; please notify us as early as possible.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due in full at the time of service unless otherwise agreed. We accept:

  • Cash (GBP)
  • Card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) – contactless terminals in all vehicles
  • Bank transfer (for corporate accounts or pre-booked journeys)

Additional charges such as airport parking fees, congestion charges, or road tolls will be passed on to the passenger at cost.

4. Passenger Conduct

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for aggressive, abusive, or threatening behaviour. Drivers reserve the right to terminate a journey immediately without refund in such cases.

  • Seat belts must be worn at all times (legal requirement).
  • Smoking, vaping, alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited inside our vehicles.
  • Eating and drinking are discouraged to keep vehicles clean for all passengers.

5. Delays and Liability

While we strive for 100% punctuality, Obencars Ltd is not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Traffic congestion, roadworks, or accidents
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Flight delays (though we monitor flight times for airport pickups)

Our liability is limited to the extent of our insurance coverage. We recommend travel insurance for valuable connections.

6. Personal Property

We are not responsible for items left in vehicles. Please check your seat and surrounding area before exiting.

If you believe you have left something behind, contact us immediately. A £10 retrieval fee may apply if the driver needs to return the item. Unclaimed items are kept for 30 days.

7. Cleaning & Damage Fees

If a passenger soils the vehicle or causes damage, a cleaning fee will be charged to cover professional sanitation and vehicle downtime:

Fee Range: £50.00 — £100.00

The final amount depends on the extent of cleaning required and the disruption to subsequent bookings. Drivers will provide photo evidence when possible.

Any physical damage to the vehicle (e.g., torn seats, broken fixtures) will be charged at actual repair cost.
