Council Requirements: We adhere strictly to the requirements of Surrey County Council, which include:

  Enhanced DBS Checks: All employees must successfully pass an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  Council Approval: All employees must be approved by Surrey County Council for work involving children and vulnerable adults.

Our Policy:

Individualized Assessment: We will assess each applicant individually, considering the nature and circumstances of their criminal record in relation to the specific job requirements.
Focus on Suitability: The primary focus will be on the applicant's suitability for the role, their rehabilitation efforts, and their ability to safely and responsibly transport our clients.
Risk Assessment: We will conduct a thorough risk assessment for each applicant with a criminal record to determine if their employment would pose a risk to our clients or the company.
Open Communication: We encourage open and honest communication with all applicants regarding their criminal history.
Support and Guidance: We may offer support and guidance to employees with criminal records to help them successfully maintain their employment.

This policy aims to strike a balance between providing opportunities for individuals with criminal records and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children and vulnerable adults we serve.

Surrey County Council School Transport: Driver and PA Positions

We are consistently seeking highly motivated and reliable professional drivers and passenger assistants to join our expanding team, primarily dedicated to providing essential Home to School transport services for Surrey County Council. We extend a warm welcome to applications from experienced SSTAT holders and skilled drivers who are eager to contribute to the vital and rewarding school run service.

Recognizing the critical importance of safety and safeguarding, and adhering to the stringent requirements mandated by Surrey County Council, all successful candidates must possess a current Enhanced DBS check, meticulously fulfill all of the council's specific criteria, and provide evidence of having completed approved and up-to-date First Aid and Safeguarding training prior to commencing any work with us.
